Seniors
On the way to work today, I had the honor of joining a group of senior adults from Shelby county. I guess you'd call them the Shelby Seniors. They've been meeting as a group for quite a few years.
It's funny, but I've always enjoyed senior adults. I guess that's because I had two wonderful grandmothers that made a impact in my life. As a kid, I enjoyed playing Chinese Checkers with Grandmother Simpson or visiting "Ma" Goodell here in Memphis. I have wonderful memories of spending time with them.
Today's group of seniors were enjoying a picnic in Bartlett and they asked me to come out and talk about weather. Hey, you can't beat that! Hot dogs, hamburgers and bologna!
Life is good!
