THANK YOU
I'd like to say THANK YOU for all of the acts of kindness many of you have expressed since the passing of my mother last week. Readers of the blog know that we've been dealing with her sickness over the past year, and now she is in Heaven, no longer in pain.
Mom was a very gifted artist and pianist. She played the piano or organ for countless weddings, funerals and graduation ceremonies through the years. It was only fitting that she play the piano at her own funeral. What???
About 3 years ago I suggested that she should record some of her piano music. I said that someday when she was gone, her music would live on. So at her funeral, she provided all of the prelude music via the cd she recorded. It was very special.
No more pain, no more cancer. Because of God's gift of salvation, Mom is enjoying an eternity in Heaven. Her new life has just begun.
